Approving Key Requests

Supervisor Key Request Responsibilities

Supervisors play an important role in protecting University building access. Supervisors must carefully review all key requests and ensure the key(s) are necessary for the requestor to carry out their duties, while keeping in mind the University's security needs. As a reminder, if an employee is leaving their current post or otherwise no longer requires their given key(s), all keys must be returned directly to Facilities Management-- please do not accept keys to return on others' behalf.
