Students are responsible for finding and successfully applying for their own internships. The first step is to think about careers that interest you. The purpose of internship is to open the door to work experience in your field, and that starts with your interests and education. What is your academic concentration? What sorts of jobs might that lead to?
One great resource is Careers4Monarchs, a jobs database offered through Â鶹´«Ã½'s Career Development Services. "Careers4Monarchs" has many jobs that are added and updated regularly for both students and alumni to review. They can be categorized in any number of ways, so don't limit yourself to communication--search other databases and keywords, as well.
