Resident Parking

Notice

As of August 1, 2020, there is onlyÌýone (1) classification of Resident parking permit. It is no longer based on a student's on-campus housing location and is valid in all Residential parking locations.

Students who live in Â鶹´«Ã½ÌýOn-Campus HousingÌýare eligible to purchase a residential parking permit.

On-Campus Housing Includes:

  • Gresham Complex
  • Rogers Complex
  • Nusbaum Apartments (A, B, C)
  • Quad Housing (Ireland, Virginia, Scotland, England, France, Dominion, Owens)
  • Monarch House
  • Powhatan Village Apartments (I & II)
  • University Village Apartments
  • Whitehurst Hall

*Note:ÌýFreshman Residents students are allowed to park their cars on campus after purchasing a valid Â鶹´«Ã½ parking permit. See the Freshman Resident Parking Policy.

Resident Permit Prices

Available to all students living in Â鶹´«Ã½ housing. Valid in Resident parking locations (see map).

*Daily Permits are also available for $10 per day.

Spring Semester Student Permit

Valid from January 1 – May 11. Does not automatically renew. Non-Refundable.

30-Day Student Permit

Valid thirty (30) days from purchase date. Does not automatically renew. Non-refundable.

Weekly Student Permit

$25

Valid seven (7) days from purchase date. Does not automatically renew. Non-refundable.

Refunds

Depending on the type of parking permit purchased, it may be eligible for a refund. Permit types other than Fall and Spring semester permits areÌýNEVERÌýeligible for a refund once they have been purchased. Refunds for Fall and Spring semester permits will be issued according to the chart below. Refund Requests must be submitted in writing toÌýparking@odu.edu. Refunds will be calculated based on the date the email was received.ÌýSpring 2025 Semester permits will be available for purchase DECEMBER 2, 2024, and will be valid January 1, 2025 – May 11, 2025.

DON'T GET TOWED!

BEFORE the game, all residents must move their cars toÌýFootball General ParkingÌý(43rd & Bluestone Garage | Constant Center 45th St. Garage | Constant Center 43rd St. Garage). Residents can start moving their vehicles at 3:45PM the day before game day. Game day parking enforcement begins at 5AM on game day.

AFTER the game, residents must move their vehicles back to resident parking locations by 7AM the Monday after the game. See Event Parking.

ALL vehicles must have a valid Â鶹´«Ã½ parking permit or hourly parking payment to park on campus. If a vehicle is parked in violation of any Â鶹´«Ã½ Parking Regulations, it can receive a citation (ticket) and/or be booted or towed at the owner's expense.
