Due to some changes in Adobe products, we need to update Creative Cloud licenses to the new Adobe Creative Cloud for Business, Pro Edition. We'll be pushing this update to Â鶹´«Ã½-managed computers on Thursday evening, July 29. On Friday, July 30, when you start work, sign out of Creative Cloud and sign back in again with your MIDAS ID and password (same as before). This will reset your license.
A couple of cool new features: After the update, you'll have access to a standard set of fonts that you won't have to load manually, and you'll have access to images from Adobe Stock as part of the University's new license. Adobe will send you a couple of emails introducing custom fonts and Adobe Stock.
Emails from Adobe
Sometime Thursday evening (July 29), you'll get to emails from Adobe with instructions for setting up and using their Adobe Stock collection and our organization's standard installed fonts. They'll look something like this:
Sign out and back in again
On Friday morning (July 30), you'll need to log out of Creative Cloud and log back in again to activate your new license.
1. First, open Creative Cloud on your Â鶹´«Ã½-managed computer. Click on the profile icon in the top right of the screen, and click Sign out.
2. Click Continue to acknowledge that you want to sign out.
3. When you see the Sign in screen, enter your faculty/staff Â鶹´«Ã½ email address, and click Continue.
4. Select Company or School Account, then enter your MIDAS credentials.
Access Adobe Stock
The new license gives you access to the entire Adobe Stock collection. You can find stock images in two ways:
1. Select Stock in the left column of the Creative Cloud dashboard.
