Evon-Broderick Award

Deadline for Submission

The Evon-Broderick Award is one of the University's most prestigious honors and awards.

In 2011, President Emeritus John R. Broderick, Â鶹´«Ã½'s 8th President, and First Lady Emerita Kate Broderick, with the help of other family members who choose to remain anonymous, established and endowed the Evon-Broderick Award for Community Engagement and Service in honor of their mothers Joan Evon and Ellen Broderick.

This esteemed honor recognizes Â鶹´«Ã½ students, who like the award's namesakes, exemplify a commitment to service and civic engagement to the university and surrounding community through superior leadership and service. This is open to currently enrolled sophomores and juniors. Sophomores must have completed 30 semester hours and juniors must have completed 60 credit hours and no more than 89 credit hours.

The award is accompanied by a monetary gift and is given to Â鶹´«Ã½ civically engaged students who exemplify the best of Monarch citizenship.
