College of Sciences Student Ambassador Program

The College of Sciences Student Ambassadors at Â鶹´«Ã½ are a select group of students who are passionate about their education and actively promote excellence by example. As representatives of the College, the Ambassadors maintain scholarly standards and assist with events, meetings, and special occasions to connect with the campus community.
About the Program
- ·Serve as a representative of the College of Sciences at admission and community events. Some admission events are held on weekends and evenings.ÌýParticipation in a minimum ofÌý4-5 events per semester is required to remain active in the program.Ìý
- Act as a resource for prospective students and their families by sharingÌýexperience and insight during events through student panels and departmental breakout sessions alongside Chief Departmental Advisors.Ìý
- Support the Strategic Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the College of Sciences by contributing to promotional materials as featured students. Ìý
- Attend and complete all training sessions.Ìý

- Connections with academic advisors, faculty, and staff members across the university. This position may lead to other leadership, research, or internship opportunities.

- Annual stipend applied to your student account.
- Current undergraduate student with at least 30 completed credit hours at Â鶹´«Ã½. Transfer students need 24 credit hours.
- Earn an overall and major GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong interpersonal and speaking skills.
- Commitment to serve for one academic year.
- Participation in 4-5 events per semester, including business meetings.
