The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE), an accredited program, offers a four-year program of study leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). Graduate degrees offered are the Master of Science and the Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The department also offers a Master of Engineering program emphasizing design and manufacturing.
The MAE Department houses modern, well-equipped laboratories dedicated to undergraduate, graduate and research programs. The mission of the department is to offer quality undergraduate and graduate education designed to prepare students for challenges faced in their entire professional and academic careers.
