Do you love Â鶹´«Ã½ Libraries and want to help shape their future? Do you want to provide input into issues that will help make the Â鶹´«Ã½ Libraries better for you and future students? If so, the Â鶹´«Ã½ Libraries' Student Advisory Council is the place for you! Applications are now being accepted from students from all class years who want to be a part of this exciting organization.
Council members will:
- Convey student needs, concerns, and priorities to the Libraries;
- Provide advice and feedback on library policies and services; the design and implementation of new library services; and improving library spaces;
- Provide insight into student study, research, and library use habits; and
- Help communicate information about library services and resources to the student community.
- Food will be provided at every meeting and Council members will receive library polo shirts.
Council members need to be available to attend monthly meeting held on Thursdays from 12:30 pm-1:20 pm.
Applications are due by August 30, 2019! Individuals selected to represent Â鶹´«Ã½'s diverse student body will be contacted by the second week of September. Apply !
