Pedagogical literature tells us that we need to better understand our students’ backgrounds and perspectives, but do we really know who our students are? Â鶹´«Ã½ has a diverse student population, including nearly 50% first generation college students. This discussion will explore aggregate data from the past five years to better grasp Â鶹´«Ã½ student demographics and how they differ by modality and student type. Understanding our students can help us develop better strategies to meet student needs and improve student success. The workshop is offered by CFD staff and led by Tyler Miller Gordon, Director of Academic Analytics, (Academic Affairs Administration).
