I am Mohammed Al Kinoon, a lecturer at the School of Cybersecurity at Â鶹´«Ã½. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, where I focused my research on healthcare data security and privacy. My expertise lies in the intersection of cybersecurity and the healthcare sector, particularly in addressing data breaches and enhancing the security of hospital websites. I have a strong background in analyzing healthcare cybersecurity challenges and developing frameworks to improve security practices. I am passionate about advancing research and education in cybersecurity, with a focus on practical solutions that protect sensitive data and critical infrastructure.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in the field of cybersecurity, with a particular focus on healthcare data security and privacy. I explore the critical challenges and vulnerabilities within the healthcare sector, including data breaches, the security of hospital websites, and the implementation of robust cybersecurity frameworks. My work aims to understand the motivations and methodologies behind cyber-attacks on healthcare data, develop solutions to mitigate these risks and improve the overall security posture of healthcare organizations. Additionally, I am interested in investigating the security challenges posed by emerging technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), within the healthcare domain.
