Francis Adams is a Professor of Political Science. Dr. Adams completed his Bachelors degree in International Studies at St. Thomas College (St. Paul, Minnesota), his Masters degree in International Development at Syracuse University, and his doctorate in Government at Cornell University.

Since joining the 鶹ý faculty in 1995, Dr. Adams has served as Director of the undergraduate International Studies program, Associate and Acting Director of the Graduate Program in International Studies, and Chair of the Department of Political Science and Geography. His teaching and research areas include: international political economy, international development, globalization, and Latin American politics.
