Ecosystem and Food Web Analysis

Ecosystem models are applied to several areas to analyze the impact of environmental variability on ecosystem function and harvested resources. These models range from a realistic model applied to the Middle Atlantic Bight of the US east coast to analyze the cycling of carbon. Single species physiological models are applied to clams and oysters to understand growth dynamics, disease processes and genetics of these animals in response to environmental variations
