The 24,000-square-foot, two-story facility, which opened in November, is the result of a $37 million gift - the largest in University history - of art and funds from Richard and Carolyn Barry.

The current exhibit has more than 300 works of art, primarily from the Barrys' personal collection. It includes 20th-century American modernist paintings, international glass sculptures, historic dolls and European automata.

The museum, led by Executive Director Jutta-Annette Page, serves as an educational resource for the University and surrounding communities. It is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and weekends noon to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free. The Museum is located at 1075 W. 43rd Street.
