The website noted that the Strome College of Business online MBA program has six concentrations, including business analytics, project management, supply chain management, economic analytics, maritime and ports management, and public procurement and contract management. Students can fulfill elective requirements by pursuing one of more than 50 graduate certificates.

The quality of the online MBA program has been cited by a number of publications and ranking services over the years. Among its most recent accolades, it was ranked and . Additionally, the part-time MBA program placed among the top 45% nationally in U.S. News & World Report's graduate school rankings for 2023.
Overall, Â鶹´«Ã½ has been a leader in since the mid-1980s. The University now offers more than 120 online programs and had conferred more than 20,000 degrees through May. Its programs are consistently .
Online MBA Report included Virginia, Rhode Island, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and the District of Columbia in its East Coast rankings.
The other Virginia schools that made the top 25 in the East are the College of William & Mary (No. 11), George Mason University (No. 16) and James Madison University (No. 19). With four schools earning rankings, Virginia tied for second in the East with Massachusetts. Pennsylvania, led by No. 1-ranked Penn State University, topped the list with seven schools.
The organization evaluated more than 400 U.S.-based online MBA programs and gathered information via surveys that asked schools offering online MBA programs for their input about which schools they view as the "best." In past years, ranking criteria included factors such as admissions selectivity, value as it pertains to tuition, and enrollment. For 2022, Online MBA Report's only ranking factor was reputation.
