Over the past two years, COVID-19 has affected everyone. The pandemic has also significantly impacted the mental health of people of all ages.
Â鶹´«Ã½'s next Science Pub will explore how the pandemic is affecting communities and schools. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at Smartmouth Brewing Co. in Norfolk. Folks are asked to by Feb. 24.
Emily Goodman-Scott, associate professor and assistant chair of the Department of Human Services & Counseling, will discuss her research and the effects we are seeing in our schools.
"The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a societal-level trauma," Goodman-Scott said. "While it's been a challenging time, it has also brought opportunities for growth and resiliency."
