About this Program

Nuclear medicine technology is the medical specialty that utilizes sealed and unsealed radioactive materials in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The nuclear medicine technology program at Â鶹´«Ã½ is designed to prepare individuals as entry-level nuclear medicine technologists.

Students entering the B.S.N.M.T. program in Nuclear Medicine Technology should meet the minimum university admission requirements Undergraduate Admission.
  • This program requires a secondary application process. Admission is considered based on GPA, healthcare experience, letters of reference, and an interview. Observation in a nuclear medicine technology department is highly recommended. Candidates must meet the physical requirements to perform the job duties of a nuclear medicine technologist and meet all requirements set forth by clinical sites for direct patient care.
