The minor in Civil Engineering Technology (Construction) is open to all students (except civil engineering technology majors). The program consists of 12 credits, and the specified courses are as follows: Sustainable Building Practices (CET 355), Construction Project Management (CET 361), Construction Cost Estimating (CET 460), and Construction Planning and Scheduling (CET 462). These courses are offered both on campus and through distance learning.
Other 300-400 level courses in the CET program may be used for the minor in lieu of or in combination with those previously listed, upon written request and approval by the CET program director. Alternative courses are Building Information Modeling (CET 365), Construction Finance and Equipment Utilization (CET 467), and Contract Documents (CET 472).

Requirements
For completion of a minor, a student must have a minimum overall cumulative grade point average of 2.00 in all courses required for the minor, exclusive of lower-level courses and prerequisite courses, and complete at least six hours in upper-level courses in the minor requirement through courses offered by Â鶹´«Ã½.
