About this Program

This Master of Science in Education prepares you for leadership roles in schools and school districts. The program leads to full Commonwealth of Virginia Licensure in Educational Administration and Supervision, Pre-K-12. Your course work will provide conceptual and theoretical knowledge, as well as practical field experience.

Requirements

What are the requirements to apply for Educational Leadership at Â鶹´«Ã½?
Students entering the Master of Science in Education program in Educational Leadership should meet the minimum university admission requirements Graduate Admission.

To gain admission, applicants must:

  1. Meet all University admissions requirements.
  2. Have an undergraduate grade point average of 2.80 overall and 3.00 in the major.
  3. Hold a valid teaching license and currently serve in a PK-12 academic position.
  4. Provide a resume.

*This degree can lead to the addition of an endorsement in administration and supervision by the Virginia Department of Education for students who hold a valid Virginia teaching license and have three years of successful teaching experience.
